1. Ideation
The generation of ideas is driven by our physicists, academic partners, and informed by state-of-the-art quantum research. These new ideas are then formalized into engineering and design roadmaps.
2. Design
Proprietary chip design and simulation tools allow us to quickly converge on promising blueprints. We can compare new ideas with previous ones and make quick decisions about where to go next.
3. Fabrication
Fabrication is carried out in cleanrooms by the nanofab team. The chips we produce are exhaustively benchmarked, ensuring key quality metrics are met.
4. Verification
Experimentalists validate our scientific progress toward fault-tolerance. With each iteration, we gain new insights, aiming for every chip produced and measured to be Alice & Bob’s best yet.
