Chukong Technologies, the parent company of mobile games publishing brands Coco and CocoaChina, has raised $50 million in new funding, the company announced today in a press release. That brings its total funding to date to $83 million. This round was led by P.E. fund New Horizon Capital with participation from some of Chukong’s existing investors. The $50 million will support Chukong’s international game publishing and localization efforts, as well as its free Cocos2D-x game engine, which is used by seven of the 10 top-grossing game devs in China.
