IAC Sells Newsweek (Sans The Daily Beast) to IBT Media
International Business Times Media has acquired the 80-year-old news publication Newsweek from IAC, the company announced on Saturday. The deal, which is expected to close in the coming days, does not include The Daily Beast, the online news website run by Tina Brown, which merged with Newsweek in 2010, also owned by IAC.
