Internews works to build healthy media and information environments where they are most needed

About us

Internews is an international non-profit organization that empowers people worldwide with the trustworthy, high-quality news and information they need to make informed decisions, participate in their communities, and hold power to account. For nearly 40 years, in more than 100 countries, Internews has worked to build healthy media and information environments where they are most needed. In March 2023, Internews started Media Program in Armenia. The USAID-funded Media Program in Armenia aims to strengthen the integrity of the information space in the country. Implemented by Internews and its partners, Media Initiatives Center, Yerevan Press Club, and Zinc Network, the program will enhance journalistic standards, catalyze the financial viability of public interest media, and foster an enabling environment for a society that is more resilient to disinformation.
