The Central Depository of Armenia will very soon send the annual reports of your pension funds. Have you already managed to have a look at the funds' investments and performance? Amundi-Acba and the National Mortgage Company have entered into the first hedging transaction executing cross currency basis swap to manage foreign exchange risks. What does this collaboration bring? 🔹 It enhances the efficiency of foreign exchange risk management for the pension funds managed by Amundi-Acba, as well as for green bonds issued by the National Mortgage Company, 🔹 fosters the improvement of mortgage financing in Armenia. 🔹 contributes to the development of derivative market in Armenia by introducing cross currency basis swaps leveraging international best practices. 📊 This transaction marks a significant move toward the effective management of pension funds’ assets and the development of Armenia’s capital market. 📈 In 2024, Armenia’s money and government bond markets recorded double-digit returns. The Armenian dram demonstrated relative stability against the US dollar.
