Use DS video to stream your video collection on your DiskStation from your iOS mobile device. Browsing is made easy as your videos are sorted in different libraries, and each movies has its information retrieved online automatically. And if you have connected HDHomeRun devices with DVB-T standard to the same local area network as your Synology NAS, you will also be able to record TV programs, as well as view the TV program to manage the recording schedule even when on the move.

Video Support to Audio DTS formatted Video
Overall the DS system is very good.
And I’ve been using Synology for a year and I’m very satisfied.
But the problem lies with the App if I stand correct..DS Video on iPhone is not compatible with many video and audio format...I don’t know much but I’ve seen errors or unable to process the format with Audio DTS formats and many other....otherwise the apps are great...I’m looking forward to enjoy the app...I’m hoping that all the issues will be resolved and further upgrade will be made...👍🏻
Is there a Picture in Picture capability?
Works well. Replays video from the last timestamp. Could boot find picture in picture functionality on the ipad.
Does not work in iOS 16
After latest update or on iOS 16. Videos in external player like VLC does not open.
