Doesn’t work without charging.. worst experience
Hi,
I am writing this to express concern on the medela breast pump.
I’m from India and recently delivered a baby boy, on developing an abscess my obgyn suggested I use a medela breast pump asap.
As it wasn’t available in India, I ordered it from the US and got it delivered to India. The time window was too less in US and the person sent it without opening and checking the product.
On receiving it in India, I realised that I’m unable to use it without removing the charging plug. I kept it on charge the whole night and still unable to use it. What’s the point of it being portable if I can’t use the pump without keeping it on charge. The disappointment is, I can’t even plane a return cos I am in India and the product is bought from the U.S. and I just feel like it was a waste of 200 dollars.
It’s a very sad customer experience for a brand like medela.
Please let me know if there’s any alternative that I can opt here and get this to work.

Hello jsginf, sorry to hear your pump problem. That seems to be a pump problem. Please contact the reseller where you bought the pump for troubleshooting and/or pump exchange.
