Needs a lot of improvement

I have been using Razorpay every day for my business transactions, primarily their link generation feature on the app.

App needs the following improvements:
1. UPI payment interface is absolutely counter-intuitive and needs to be made user-friendly. A method to pull my UPI with mobile number for faster, intuitive way to pay.
2. No option to pay via Paytm
3. No HDFC Net Banking payment support. It is the largest private sector bank; there’s just no excuse. Keep your differences aside & get on with it please
4. No International payments accepted; not sure if this true or I’m doing something wrong

I have also registered with Stripe and have started using it; will do some A-B testing there before we hook the API up on our website.

Account opening is so difficult

I had an account as an individual and it got blocked for no reason (apparently was not complaint with their terms and conditions) after 2 months of using it. Nothing could be done. There was no explanation, nothing. Imagine the gateway stops in the middle of business. Not their fault if the banks terminated it but why accept it at the first place. So once they got their rbi status I thought of opening it again with a different number since my business is now registered and not an individual. But it is so confusing. One time they say Business not supported and the next min someone calls me to rectify something and then they again send the same email. It is either unsupported or has been terminated. However I have been using stripe for the past year and account opening was so smooth and it’s going well so far.
Imagine I could open a stripe account but could not open a razorpay account. Oh probably not their fault. Maybe the banks that work with them do not accept it.

However I remember Razorpay’s customer service was very fast in replying but now you can’t even chat with them easily. Also I gave them an advice and a suggestion and they almost
Immediately did it. That was nice.

Pathetic: they won’t resume payment settlement

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the ongoing issue I am experiencing with Razorpay. It has been 19 days since I submitted all the requested documents and agreed to the offline outlet verification. Despite this, the verification process remains incomplete.

An agent from Razorpay contacted me and stated that they would visit in the evening for verification. However, the agent did not show up and has since failed to respond to my calls. As a small e-commerce business owner, I rely on timely payment processing to proceed with customer orders. Unfortunately, Razorpay has held my payments for 19 days, causing significant disruptions and financial losses.

The poor customer support and lack of communication from Razorpay have resulted in a severe mental and emotional toll on me. I urge you to address this matter urgently and release the held payments so I can continue my business operations without further losses.
