Pathetic service
I have been a Sterling Bank customer for over 10 years now and unfortunately I had a Glo salary account which I continued to maintain even after leaving Glo as I continued to be based in Nigeria.
Let me list the issues:
1) I have requested for a Master / Visa card as my previous card expired and despite being charged I have not received the card.
2) I received a Verve card and called the call centre to activate it today (1st April) and was told I can activate it from any ATM, I specifically confirmed if it needed to be a Sterling Bank ATM or any ATM and was specifically told any ATM. I tried at 3 ATM’s to activate the card it did not happen.
3) since I was unable to activate the card I now went to Sterling Bank at Bordiloun Road Ikoyi, Lagos and inserted the card to activate it and was told the card has been retracted.
4) since I now had no card and was unable to withdraw cash I called the call center again only to hear the executive telling me I should have only tried to activate the card at a Sterling Bank ATM in the first place.
5) Obviously none of the Sterling Bank ATM’s in Ikoyi were dispensing any cash hence how can such a pathetic service be called one bank as Sterling is certainly not dependable to be a persons single bank and he has to use more reliable service and may be if necessary use the Sterling bank and a remote alternative.
Crashing issues
It doesn’t open on iphone 6, it just keeps crashing. Other apps are working perfectly. Please correct this issue as soon as possible
Not Satisfied
Absolute pathetic bank with poor service. Money transferred to other accounts doesn’t go through.
