E paper keeps refreshing when zoomed in
The e-paper keeps refreshing when zoomed in and reading an article. Its frustrating and irritating and takes your mind off the reading and consuming information.
Also why are there ads when I am paying you money. Adverts are for non paying customers. Making your cake and eating it too?
Please fix the zooming issue or have the money refunded. I can’t read the paper like that.
Worst news app ever made!
Being a news junkie, I have tried every news app available but this Indian Express app takes the cake for being the worst. Seems like someone’s college project being dished out as an app, that has one of the most expensive subscription … more expensive than buying the Indian Express newspaper every day.
The news doesn’t get updated, Today’s newspaper will show news that is many days, weeks, and sometimes even many years old. For example, for today’s paper of 2-Apr-22, out of the 9 news articles visible on the first screen, only 2 are of today’s, 3-4 are from 30-Mar-22 and 28-Mar-22, rest all are from 2018! Specifying interests doesn’t change anything on display. The paid access will also show you advertisements, that you would see even if you don’t pay for access and use it free. The most interesting is that the feedback form available in the app, cannot be submitted!
Learn and evolve
Hello Developers from The Indian express I think you guys are not paid enlightened or may be Indian express only hires intern for development of this worst app. I’m BTech IT working as a Business and Product analysis I can list down tons of improvements in this app but as of now go check the app and features by “The Hindu” app. If you can’t spend money on your team then don’t do much more research don't spend money on hiring full time developers and products team just told them to develop the app similitude to the India for iPad .
