YAP – Your Digital Banking App 4+

This app genuinely gets no star from me

It is an absolutely horrible app. I am employee and I had gotten this app as it was convenient in the beginning. Then there came a time where my KYC statement needed to be updated and had gone under review. Restricting me from using the app with my money stuck in the in the account. This was since days AGO!! Till this day I haven’t been able to get access to my account despite contacting them everyday via WhatsApp chat where they are of no help due to they’re automated replies and they do not pick up phone calls even after waiting for for 30+ minutes. Absolutely horrible and inappropriate. Additionally, what was worse that before my services were restricted or my app denied access. I wasn’t unfriend or made aware if this situation at all. Neither was I sent a heads up for the restrictions which would at-least allow me to withdraw all the money. Just one day like every other day, I went in my app to pay my phone credit and I was locked out thinking I forgot the password or something. And if I have any pending documents the agents in-charge won’t even think to inform me of anything that they require unless I spam them on their WhatsApp which gets me nowhere. So please save yourself and DO NOT make an account on this app. It’s been very frustrating and I am still struggling after since days

Inform support team to change the name as copy paste team.

Every week got app updates but I don’t know what changes they have done. Im trying to open an yap account. Emirates ID verification over and couldn’t update card name and proceed. Escalated one month before to app support team and Instagram chat. Getting same response as forwarded to technical team. Even the team could able to fix the small issues incase if our money hold while transfer then we have to wait for the whole year.
Uninstalling app. Thanks. Please again don’t copy paste anything here in the name if response.

Worst Banking Experience

It says 30 secs but took 3 weeks to even get a response from them, and that was when I was told there were missing information in my application (which I had clearly filled when applying). They say card will be delivered in 48hors but took 5 days. Useless customer service who just keep saying “it’s under process”. Moved on to another bank. No point waiting for 3 weeks for something you need to get done quickly.
