LA Clippers + Intuit Dome 4+

Anti Consumer and borderline illegal. Do not buy tickets for this venue. Even if you have pricey tickets that you bought months in advance from Ticketmasters, StubHub, SeatGeek, etc, even before this app was even available, you will be denied entrance unless they are on this app. Most of the time you will not be able to add them. This App relies on you creating an account using the same email you used to buy the tickets. If you use different emails on the tickets services above, you will need to create multiple accounts on this App, one per email used, Even then you will struggle to find your tickets. Also, even after creating these multiple Intuit Dome accounts to be able to access all your tickets, you can only have 1 game Face ID so only 1 account will be fully functional. You will also need to sign out and in for every accounts. If you try to change your email on any of those services (Ticketmaster, etc) and consolidate under one email, the app will still not find your tickets, because they are tied to the email you used at the time of purchase. You may have spent $500-$1,000 to go to an event, only to be denied entrance at the door, even if you have printed tickets or a barcode in the app where you purchased the tickets to being with. This policy IS enforced at the Dome and that’s why I will NEVER go there again. How is this legal blows my mind and I will send a letter to the California Attorney General

This is a real review. For those who are afraid (as I was) that getting this app working will be a nightmare, today I installed the newest version and setup my account. I am on iOS 18 on an iPhone 13 and I had no problems with the setup. Yes it is annoying that the app will ask you for a bunch of personal data including a selfie for facial recognition, but the facial recognition is actually optional and you can hit “Skip”. I think some of the other information like your home address is also optional. Once I got into the app, I was looking for a ticket that I bought from StubHub and had been transferred to me. To my pleasant surprise the ticket was already waiting there because the app recognized that my email address matched the transfer details. I was able to accept the transfer and now I have the ticket in my account. Overall this process took me like 2 minutes so it does seem that the newest version of this app is functioning OK. It’s annoying that I have to install a whole separate app to go to Clippers games, but they are not the only team that does this, I have gone to NBA game in Portland and they also require a separate Trailblazers app. Annoying; but it is what it is. Happy to have it all taken care of now and just wanted to share my real life experience.

Having spent $900 on tickets for a concert through Ticketmaster, I was surprised and disappointed a month before the show to find that I had to download yet another app - as did everyone in my party. The app requires more data than I felt comfortable supplying especially considering that all this info will likely be breached in the future, but the money had already been spent and there was no recourse or turning back at this point. In the week between my downloading and supplying information I had to update the app 3 times - including the day of the show. My minor child also had to supply identity information to receive her ticket as did my husband. No one was thrilled about this. The venue is new and shiny but the whole concession area is like something from a sci fi movie or video game but not in a good way. Very generic and low quality with little choice and all concessions the same in a repeating pattern. I wish I’d made the choice to see the show in another venue rather than Intuit. Even the employees were unhappy with the performance and process associated with this venue and app. Avoid at all costs.
