Peacock TV is for serious TV fans. It has plenty of familiar titles: The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Saturday Night Live, Downton Abbey, Two and a Half Men, Yellowstone, The King of Queens, and Law & Order: SVU, to name a few. You’ll also find new episodes of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and kids’ shows like Curious George, as well as live coverage of Premier League soccer. Looking for wrestling? Peacock is now the home of the WWE’s new events and its giant streaming library.

I wanna say that they have an amazing selection on this app for tv shows and movies.
However, I got the app for free with Xfinity wifi and they said I would have Peacock PREMIUM. When I think of premium I think “no ads.” Well that is NOT the case. I try to watch tv shows and an ad plays every few minutes. It plays about every 5 minutes during the show. I get a 60 second ad about 3-4 times every single 24 minutes episode. And it does not stop there. I also get 15 and 30 second ads on top of the minute long ones. So over all I’m watching roughly 10 minutes of ads every single episode??? I thought I was suppose to have premium… this is not premium. I enjoy the app, but the ads are just ridiculous. If anything, play a minute and a half ad BEFORE the episode so customers can watch a single episode in peace without interruption every 3 seconds.
I gave four stars because I know how hard it is to allow such a selection without ads. But come on… I watch about 5 minutes of a show and get hit with 5 minutes of ads. It makes me not want to use the app.
Garbage, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!
New issue! I had a show on pause, came back and the app gave me some error with a picture of the stupid cat from Shrek, and the app signed me out and wouldn't let me sign back in!! So I reboot the Apple TV and able to sign in, but now, literally every single show from continue watching is gone! Items that were in My Stuff is now completely empty! This is the only app I have ever seen do this, and the only app that I continue to have the absolute most frustrating time with. This is it, last straw, I'm buying and downloading the shows I want and cutting my losses with this trash. I just can't believe how terrible this app is.
Third time submitting a review, let's see if this one makes it (my other reviews mysteriously vanish). This is the most frustrating app I have ever used and I cannot fathom how this ever made it to production. I literally cannot watch an episode of something that's already been marked as watched because it keeps playing the last couple seconds and then auto plays the next, and every time I try to go back and select this specific episode, it plays the final couple seconds again and goes into the next. Over and over and over and over. This app is the worst I have ever used, lacks all features, doesn't use native video player, can't disable autoplay, buffers or doesn't play, I don't get this trash heap.
