I don't know if you noticed, but THE WORLD IS FULL OF ZOMBIES RIGHT NOW! And here's how they dragged me with them... Pedro Aira and I met at #EVA 2023 We had a lovely and inspiring conversation about the philosophy of creativity and lots of weirder stuff. We hit it off! But it was only a couple of cups of wine 🍷🍷 that he found out about my passion for #indiegames and their #soundscape He told me about Punko.io, his game/child he loves so much - once you try it, you'll know why - He mentioned he was having trouble identifying the right musicalization for Punko. For the next few days, I sat in my studio doing what I do best. We then had a second meeting, in which I presented my approach. It clicked, it was perfect for Punko. And not only in an aesthetic manner 💅 The reason it works so well is it is based on Punko's huge (kinda-hidden) lore and philosophy. Making a long story short, the massive dichotomy the game presents is "re-presented" by re-versioned pieces of classical music, Both as rock and dubstep. Make sure you try it, play a few levels, (I warn you, it is not an easy game) and tell us your thoughts on this peculiar approach. Pedro pays A LOT of attention to detail, so keep an eye out for that for, as usual, these details take the experience to a whole new level.
