Five good news for President Milei over the last days. 🇦🇷 1️⃣ September inflation reported at 3.5% (yes, monthly), the lowest in almost threee years. 2️⃣ Country risk rating, key to roll over debt payments, now at 1,100 basis points, lowest in four years. 3️⃣ Ruling party manages to uphold in Congress (for the second time in two months) a presidential veto on legislation that would have increased fiscal deficit. 4️⃣ The IMF Board reduced surcharges on big loans, something that benefits 20 countries among them Ukraine and Argentina ($450mn savings a year for Milei). 5️⃣ Former president Cristina Kirchner is moving to lead the opposition. At first sight, the best opponent Milei can dream of. We are one year away from the 2025 midterm elections and Milei needs the good news to keep flowing. Is celebrating still premature? I try to answer that question in my weekly Buenos Aires Times column. What do you think? 👉 https://lnkd.in/eBbdTjfx
