Imagine the countless texts that have been translated to bring us the technological breakthroughs we enjoy today—in medicine, engineering, architecture, art, construction, industrial design, and so much more. Think of all the movies we’d miss out on without subtitles and dubbing. How many amazing stories would we never get to read without translators? And what about the international agreements and legal processes that wouldn’t exist without legal translators? The list goes on. It was first celebrated in 2001 during the European Year of Languages. We've been recently working on some fascinating projects involving diverse French dialects. While we can't reveal all the details, we took the opportunity to dive deep into the varieties of French. So, let’s talk about the dialects of #French! 😮 The #FrenchLanguage is spoken in many countries worldwide, and in each region, it has blended with local languages to develop unique varieties. Here are a few of the main dialects, but this is just the beginning—Louisiana Creole, for instance, didn't make the list!
