This is a pack of BIOS files for use with the multi-system emulator OpenEmu for macOS, allowing it to better emulate a variety of video game consoles.
For directions on use, look at this OpenEmu user guide page, which is currently slightly outdated and does not have a complete list of BIOS files that OpenEmu might need.
Basically, extract the files from the .ZIP file, and then drag and drop each of them, one by one, onto the OpenEmu window while OpenEmu is running. Then go to OpenEmu on the macOS menu bar, then Preferences --> System Files to see which ones you have successfully installed and which are still missing.
This includes 33 BIOS files for the emulator OpenEmu. These 33 BIOS files are the ones needed in OpenEmu versions 2.0.6.1 and 2.0.7. Earlier OpenEmu versions than 2.0.6.1 do not require all of these files, since version 2.0.6.1 added Sega Saturn support. Most of the other files are for systems whose support was introduced in OpenEmu version 2.0.1. Future versions of OpenEmu which come after 2.0.7 may possibly want files that are not included here.
Users of other emulators may also find some of these BIOS files useful, but this pack is mainly aimed at OpenEmu users. If you have a different emulator you should probably look here for the right BIOS files. OpenEmu verifies that the checksums of all these files are correct before using them. These files all have correct checksums and work in OpenEmu.
Atari800 (files 1-4 are for emulating the Atari 5200 and are by Atari)
1) atariosb.rom (10 KB) - Atari 400/800 OS rev. B ROM (known incorrect dump)
2) 5200.rom (2 KB) - Atari 5200 BIOS
3) ataribas.rom (8 KB) - Atari XL/XE BASIC rev. C ROM
4) atarixl.rom (16 KB) - Atari XL/XE OS rev. 2 ROM
Bliss (files 5-8 are for emulating the Intellivision and are by Mattel Electronics)
5) ecs.bin (25 KB) - Entertainment Computer System ROM
6) exec.bin (8 KB) - Intellivision Executive BIOS
7) grom.bin (2 KB) - Intellivision Graphics ROM
8) ivoice.bin (2 KB) - Intellivoice ROM
CrabEmu (file 9 is for emulating the ColecoVision and is by Coleco Industries)
