CyberGuard 2024 Conference A1 provides more than 29 million customers with mobile and internet services. However, our responsibility extends beyond selling products and services. Thus we aim to foster awareness for smart and responsible online behavior. The Team of A1 Hrvatska d.o.o. has been leading the way with the initiative #BoljiOnline (Better Online) for years. Last week, the team, around Marijana Zagorac and Iva Turcin, set a new benchmark in online safety and awareness with holding the CyberGuard2024 conference in Zagreb. The message from the conference is clear: Yes, we must be caring. Yes, we need to discuss the dangers of the internet with our children. Yes, we have a responsibility as parents and as an industry. Tonight, we published A1's financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024. In a challenging environment and despite rising costs due to inflation we managed to grow in revenues. The growth is mainly driven by our activities in the CEE markets. We performed especially strong in ICT and mobile business. Letzte Woche haben rund 40 junge Kolleg:innen ihren Lehrabschluss gefeiert und treten nun bei A1 Österreich ihre ersten Jobs an. Ich bin besonders stolz, dass unser Jahrgang 2020 die Lehrausbildung erfolgreich absolviert hat, da der Start unter besonders schwierigen Bedingungen erfolgte – nämlich mitten in der Coronapandemie im Sommer 2020. Die Lehrlinge haben mit Distance Learning und etlichen anderen herausfordernden Situationen umgehen lernen müssen – und sie haben alles großartig gemeistert! Ein großes Danke an dieser Stelle auch an die Leiterin unserer Lehrlingsausbildung Britta Schindler und ihr Team, das die jungen Kolleg:innen unermüdlich begleitet und unterstützt hat.
