Our goal was to create a robust and scalable system that enhances efficiency for dealers worldwide. We had to overcome not only technical hurdles but also ensure the final product was intuitive and user-friendly. 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀: 🚀 Event-Driven Microservice Architecture: Shifting to this architecture required rethinking our development approach. This change allowed us to scale services independently, improving flexibility and maintainability. 🚀 Cloud-Native Development: Moving to the cloud demanded new security protocols, network architectures, and data strategies, which boosted system performance and scalability. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: ↗️ Skill Expansion: We expanded our expertise by bringing in external experts and training our teams, ensuring the successful implementation of cutting-edge technologies. ↗️ Agile Development Methods: Adopting Scrum and agile practices allowed us to adjust dynamically and meet evolving needs throughout the development process. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀: ✨ Unifying the User Experience: Creating a consistent design was a significant challenge, as the old system's interface caused user frustration. ✨ Redesigning the User Interface: The design overhaul, developed through iterative design sprints and user feedback, created an appealing and user-friendly interface. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀: 💥 User-Centered Workshops: Workshops and user tests helped our designers understand dealer needs and integrate these insights into the design. 💥 Prototyping and Feedback Loops: Rapid prototyping and continuous feedback loops refined the design to meet user requirements. The DealerHub project shows how innovative development and design practices can transform challenges into opportunities, making dealers' work simpler and more efficient.

When two of their runners unexpectedly couldn’t attend, they reached out to the PIERER Digital team for support. Within just hours, two dedicated runners from LX media GmbH stepped in to complete Avocodo’s lineup. 🏃 Moments like these highlight the strength of our Team, showing that it extends beyond business success. Introducing the Pierer Assembly Manager (PAM) for 3D use cases whether 2D config, renderings, streaming... We have produced great visual products with Unreal but the approach was not scalable - now it is. Unscalable was to model of perfect digital 3D twin of a bike, for each bike and then add all the powerparts on top within the Unreal engine and the standard mechanisms and having then dozens or hundreds of these assets in memory on a cloud instance. Instead we analyzed all our bikes across all segments and brands what separates them and what not. So we now model entire bike families as a family with each member consisting of a collection of visual parts; we create 3D assets of these visual parts and a set o metadata describing what constitutes say this KTM 990 Duke EU orange 2024. When the new 2D configurator requests an image of this it fetches the meta data, assembles the bike on the fly, adds powerparts, lights, perhaps an environment in milli-seconds and delivers the complete image in under 2s. The black version differs in perhaps 2 parts, a Husqvarna in a handful, the US version in perhaps 1. So we are basically applying industrial logic and platform thinking do the 3D tool chain and delivery logic of an artefact. It means producing perfection every time at lower cost and in shorter time. It is now out there for the new KTM Duke 990. Soon applied to everything else being released.
