During our conversation, he highlighted the technical challenges faced in maritime engineering and the exciting future trends in the industry. 📈 🎯 Technical Challenges: "Our biggest technical challenge at the moment is how to protect generators in a closed bus-tie scenario. We're looking with Bachmann at the opportunity to use their GMP module to measure the currents and current direction in order to provide this protection." 🌍 Key Future Trends: Jeroen emphasized the growing importance of standardization, eco-friendly solutions, and the shift towards lower fuel usage and emissions. These trends are driven by the increasing demand from customers for greener solutions. "We see that the environment is taking a bigger part of our engineering... our customers demand lower fuel usage, demand lower emissions, and we try to accommodate whatever we have."
