It’s truly inspiring to see so many people working on making the EU Green Deal to reality. What happens next? The Next Gen Design team (designaustria, Barcelona Design Week, Mikser, What Design Can Do and Public Room) and esteemed panel of jurors (Zoran Jedrejcic, Laura Clèries, Amanda Pinatih, David Jablonski and birgit lohmann) will be diving into your submissions with care and curiosity. Joseph Binder Award Gold Winners! 🥇🎉 In 2023/24, I moved to Salzburg for a six-month design internship at PunktFormStrich Branding & Design. During my time there, I felt truly welcomed, motivated, and inspired. The company’s energy and values strongly influenced my work. Fast forward to 2025, I was honored to learn that the illustrations I created during my internship were nominated for the Joseph Binder Award 2024 in the category of Commercial Illustration. I’m proud to share that those illustrations won the Gold Trophy!🏆 This award highlights the incredible impact of great mentors who foster growth in those around them. It also demonstrates how even an intern can shine when given the freedom to explore their creative potential within a supportive environment.✨ Shoutout to Hans-Christian Kogler and Gregor Sams for being incredible mentors! JOSEPH BINDER AWARD 2024 – Der internationale Preis für Grafikdesign & Illustration von designaustria wurde verliehen! 44 Auszeichnungen für Design aus Österreich, davon 6-Mal Gold. Aus 896 Einreichungen aus 35 Ländern vergab die internationale Expert·innenjury 12-Mal Gold, 14-Mal Silber und 13-Mal Bronze. 39 Arbeiten erhielten eine Auszeichnung, darüber hinaus kam in der auftragsunabhängigen Kategorie »Design Fiction« ein Preisgeld von 10.000 Euro zur Vergabe, das sich auf 4 Beiträge aufteilt. Zusätzlich wurde zum dritten Mal der Henry Steiner Prize verliehen. Herzliche Gratulation allen Gewinner·innen! Unter dem Motto »Show Your Color« sind die ausgezeichneten Projekte bis 15.
