Former co-founder Dr. Pammer visits EFKON Headquarters 👏 Dr. Raimund Pammer, former co-founder of EFKON, recently visited the company’s headquarters in Raaba. EFKON was founded over 30 years ago , inspired by Dr. Pammer’s research in DSRC infrared technologies at the Institute for Space Research in Graz. This research laid the foundation for EFKON’s first infrared-based products. 🏅 Since leaving the company more than a decade ago, Dr. Pammer has built a successful career as a real estate entrepreneur. His visit was a special occasion, as he reunited with many former colleagues who played key roles in establishing and growing EFKON. New Contract Strengthens EFKON’s Strong Position in Norway 💪 ✨ We are proud to announce that EFKON has secured another framework contract in Norway for the procurement and maintenance of electronic free flow tolling equipment. 🏆. The framework agreement was concluded with Vegfinans AS in January. Norway is a pioneer of electronic tolling and sustainable mobility. Since the 1980s, bridges, tunnels and roads in Norway have been refinanced by tolling. In large cities, traffic is limited by toll stations on ring roads and access roads and public transport is promoted. EFKON has been a trusted supplier of free-flow toll systems in Norway since 2018. This new framework contract marks another significant milestone in our journey, reinforcing our strong market position and enabling us to continue our successful operations in the region. EFKON's Spectacular Year-End Bash: Celebrating Success in a Winter Wonderland!☃❄   Like every year, EFKON once again hosted an unforgettable year-end celebration. 🎄This year's end-of-year celebration took place in the stunning skiing and hiking paradise of "Turracher Höhe", nestled in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Blessed with fantastic weather, our employees enjoyed a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including skiing ⛷, trekking 🥾, wellness, or a visit to the gemstone exhibition.   The festivities continued with the official introduction of EFKON's new management team, who shared their vision for the company, along with insights, prospects, and priorities for 2025. EFKON enhances portfolio with Next Generation DSRC Transceiver The latest version of EFKON’s successful "DSRC Microwave Transceiver" has been available to customers and projects since autumn. This third-generation upgrade marks a significant advancement, enhancing the core component of our solutions and further strengthening and expanding EFKON's product portfolio. EFKON’s transceiver stands out with unique features and top-tier performance, making it an essential component of our Multi-Lane Free-Flow (MLFF) toll systems. This in-house platform enables us to create customized solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. Key product enhancements include accurate position detection of vehicles in multi-lane operation and an adjustable zone width. The new transceiver also supports Power Over Ethernet (PoE), and features an enhanced EMC concept, a more robust SAM solution, and improved modularity for seamless integration into specific DSRC- applications and components.
