🎇 We are proud to announce the official opening of the Tsenovo Solar Power Plant. With a capacity of 113 MW, this solar park is more than just a collection of solar panels - it’s a powerful symbol of the progress towards the region's green transition.   📍 Located on 140 hectares, the Tsenovo Solar Plant generates 177 GWh of clean energy annually, powering over 48,000 households and cutting impressive 80,528 tonnes of CO2 emissions yearly. Beyond the figures, this project highlights the region's beauty.   🏆 But what makes this achievement truly remarkable are the people behind it. Green News for the Energy Industry in Slovakia!     We are proud to announce the official opening of our Elias Solar Power Plant in Iliašovce, Slovakia. This milestone marks a significant step in our mission to power a greener future through renewable energy in Slovakia.     The Elias PV plant will produce 7.2 GWh of green electricity annually, covering up to 92% of Šariš Brewery's electricity consumption under a 10-year Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA). By partnering with Šariš Brewery, we are paving the way for more sustainable business practices and reducing carbon footprints.    The project's story goes back to 2020, when Enery launched its business development operations in Slovakia. An interesting connection ties the Municipality of Iliašovce to the sunny state of California – both share the iconic bear symbol. Iliašovce, originally known as 'Villa Ursi' or 'Village of the Bear,' has a rich history dating back to when its first settlers aided monarchs in bear hunting.    Today, we are proud to add to the local history the first PV asset in Slovakia with dual land use and environmental practices, such as using sheep for grass mowing.     We thank our incredible Enery team, who brought the Elias project to life - from concept on paper to actual solar power plant.     #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #PPA #Sustainability #GreenEnergy #PVplant #Slovakia #Enery
