Today is OMV’s annual general meeting. If they would find fossil gas under Vienna’s historical Karlsplatz, OMV would certainly drill there. Because for fossil fuel companies it doesn’t matter how worthy of protection a place is. OMV is currently planning Neptun Deep in the Black Sea, the largest gas project in the EU. They are ruthlessly accepting massive climate damage and the endangerment of a unique ecosystem in return for a few years of profit. 🛑 We call on OMV to stop their senseless gas plans. 🛑
