🍃 Bioeconomy Austria Summit 2024 🍃 We attended the annual Austrian bioeconomy summit in Mozarteum in Salzburg. 🤝 The event brought together experts, innovators and policymakers focused in the biobased circular economy sector. Academia, EU-funded projects, startups, and best-practice companies were at display. 💡 Very creative and innovative ideas, all remarkably circular. From new biobased pest treatment for plants made from novel mycelia, to wooden composites in trains and cars. ✨ The summit traversed on European policies of strengthening and supporting the bioeconomy sector, establishing networks and encouraging growth and improvement. 🫶 Co-shaping the hemp building sector🫶 🟢 Together with the world pioneers focused on the same mission - furthering the state-of-the-art and market readiness of hemp building materials. During the 12th International Hemp Building Association's Symposium, stakeholders from farming, research, building and manufacturing gathered to explore best-practice examples, exchange know-how and collaborative ideas. 💚 We had the great honour to present our work on soundproofing and acoustics. Coming home deeply inspired, we feel empowered and fuelled with new aspirations towards paving the way to a chem-free and non-toxic construction world. ❇️ The hemp building sector is gaining a momentum.  And we are full of excitement for being part of it! #hempbuilding #internationalcollaborations #greenconstruction

❇️🎉Wow! This was Design District 2024!🎉❇️ Under the motto “Design needs new approaches”, we took part in the Circular Design special exhibition at Hofburg. The exhibition showcased local companies building sustainable concepts and solutions and brought together an amazing mix of creators from the design space. We loved having our stand in Maria-Theresia’s working apartment and displaying our products in such a royal setting. 👑 It was a blast sharing these moments with our circular friends from guut - schlafen • wohnen , JoyJoy, Ludwig Kyral, MATR®, materialnomaden gmbh, Mowo, amongst others. 💡Shedding light on our exciting new cooperation with TU Wien!💡 We’ve already quantified the CO2 storage potential of our material on a theoretical level. Now, it’s time to take it further—how much CO2 does our material really store? 🧐 Together with the Technische Universität Wien, we’ll be conducting practical experiments to gather comparative data.
