For 30 years, Institut AllergoSan has developed and researched products made from substances provided by nature. No matter what has been involved – probiotics, organic substances or orthomolecular medicine – our focus has always been on offering our customers scientific innovations committed to the holistic concept of humans and nature. Thanks to intensive collaboration with renowned scientists in the fields of medicine, biology, pharmacy and biochemistry, a naturopathic research and competence centre was established. Our products are selected according to the strictest quality criteria and meet the highest standards. Our objective is to find the best solutions available for complex health problems. Research Research into several aspects of probiotic medicine currently uses up a large part of the budget at Institut AllergoSan. Teams of researchers in Europe, America and Asia are currently working on concepts for new probiotic medication and nutritional supplements that will revolutionise many areas in medicine over the next couple of years. The medical use of probiotics to treat antibiotic-associated diarrhoea has been known for a long time. In 2008 this was widely published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology with the products of Institut AllergoSan being introduced to the general public of healthcare professionals. Over the next couple of years, Institut AllergoSan will continue to concentrate in particular on the development of indicationrelated and specific probiotics that can be used as nutritional supplements and dietary food along with any medical treatment for medical purposes without causing any side effects or needing time for the body to get used to it. In doing so, we are expecting the approval of scientifically based multi-strain probiotics for a series of new medical indications.

From colleagues – for colleagues 🏊♂️💪 In a family-owned company like our Institut AllergoSan, the focus is not only on professional success, but above all on team spirit and the personal development of our employees. Our most recent success: a specially organised and sponsored crawl swimming course 🏅 This initiative not only promotes our fitness, but also boosts our sense of belonging and team spirit - a real highlight! 🙌 💡🌱 What makes this course special? It is organised by our resident champion swimmer Alexandra Raus, who took home four medals from four starts (!) at the European Aquatics Masters Championships in Belgrade. In other words, Alex has real power and will show us all how it's done! Not only will we be able to develop as athletes, but we will also be supported in getting fit together, pushing our own limits and growing closer together as the AllergoSan Institute 💪 This activity underlines our sense of community at the Institut AllergoSan and how much we support each other as a team. Great things are only achieved when a team is healthy, motivated and full of energy. A strong and healthy team is the basis for our joint success! 🚀 #joinourjourney #teamspirit #familybusiness #employeehealth #personaldevelopment #fitinautumn #crawlourse #strongtogether

"Prevention is an investment in a good and long life"! 💪 Anita Frauwallner joined more than 100 experts from the fields of medicine, research, politics and business as a guest speaker at the exciting BILD Prevention Summit in the Axel Springer Tower, which focussed on the long underestimated gut and its importance for health. It is now clear that intestinal bacteria play a major role in our health and this was also confirmed by Anita Frauwallner, CEO of Institut AllergoSan, the competence centre for microbiome research: "A healthy microbiome is essential. Inflammation in the gut has a negative effect on the whole body, so you need the right bacteria to prevent this. The problem is that many people don't stick to a healthy diet for long, which is why probiotics, proven by studies, are an optimal solution." The "BILD Vorsorgegipfel" will take place on 16 October 2024 - Anita Frauwallner will be there to lead an exciting discussion on the topic of "Microbiome & Diabetes" 🎤 Did you know that excessive sugar consumption can disrupt the gut microbiome and lead to health problems? 🍭 Overgrowth of harmful bacteria and fungi: Sugar promotes the growth of harmful microorganisms such as enterobacteria and Candida albicans, which can lead to digestive problems and health problems such as obesity and diabetes 🦠 Loss of bacterial diversity: A high-sugar, low-fibre diet reduces diversity in the gut, which can lead to various health problems🌱 Promotion of inflammation: The overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria can promote chronic inflammation and leaky gut syndrome, which is associated with many diseases 🔥 To maintain microbiome balance, sugar consumption should be reduced and a high-fibre diet should be a priority. The use of multispecies probiotics can also help to strengthen the intestinal barrier and reduce inflammatory reactions. Stress and gut health - an underestimated connection! Did you know that your gut can be just as sensitive to stress as your head? 😬📉 The close connection between your gut and brain, known as the gut-brain axis, means that prolonged stress affects much more than just your mood. Stress upsets the balance of your gut bacteria (microbiome), which can trigger physical symptoms such as bloating, diarrhoea or constipation 😣🔄 But that's not all: chronic stress can weaken the intestinal barrier and lead to increased permeability, which is known as "leaky gut syndrome". Leaky gut syndrome leads to a weakened barrier function in the gut, making it easier for unwanted substances to enter the bloodstream. This can favour inflammation, allergic reactions and food intolerances. But don't worry - there are ways to support your gut health! 💪
