Happening this week! The award-winning film "Explanation for Everything" by director Gábor Reisz is a sharp and multi-layered portrait of a socially divided Hungary. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Hungarian journalist Réka Kinga Papp, editor-in-chief of Eurozine, and former IWM visiting fellow. In conversation with IWM Rector Misha Glenny, Papp will speak about Hungary under Viktor Orbán, the effects of authoritarian politics on our societies, and strategies for countering the populist surge.
