"The most exhausting day of the year!” — that was the notorious working title for the Corporate Finance event at #DealSourcing2024, hosted by FINANCE Think Tank Corporate Banking & Finance – Eine Initiative der Targecy GmbH. Fortunately, the day turned out to be far more exhilarating than exhausting! The event in Oberursel provided a fantastic setting to connect with top professionals in Private Equity, Consulting, Finance, and Corporate M&A. We had the pleasure of showcasing our AI-driven target screening solution to a house full of 900 industry experts, and the positive, engaged feedback was incredibly rewarding. 📚📖 Our Co-founder Florian Bauer has launched a study this year on the topic of "M&A in SMEs" together with the Bundesverband Mergers & Acquisitions gem. e.V. (BM&A gem. e.V.), in cooperation with its publication M&A REVIEW and the University of Bristol. This study is the third continuation since 2022 and takes into account new aspects (e.g., openness, strategic direction, ESG). M&A Summit 2024 is a wrap! 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣🎉 The summit served as a platform for insightful workshops and inspiring panel discussions.  Two days packed with learnings on current M&A work streams. We had the chance to present our target screening solution in the context of M&A digitalization along side our colleagues at Palturai and Valu8 Company Intelligence. The first event evening was entirely under the theme „Women in M&A“.  We listened to personal anecdotes from Melanie Wiese, Dr. Dorothee Prosteder, Karin Schaeuble und Isabelle Pernegger on their path to M&A leadership. A truly inspiring podium discussion. We can’t wait to see what grows from it! The second day was filled with keynote speeches by leading M&A experts and the respective podium discussions.
