Der Abend beginnt um 18:00 Uhr mit einem entspannten Get-together, gefolgt von einer Lesung und einem Q&A. Der Ausklang des Abends wird von Snacks, Getränken und feministischen Gesprächen begleitet, die Brücken bauen und zum Nachdenken anregen. Wir freuen uns auf einen inspirierenden Abend mit einer der bedeutendsten Stimmen für die Verbindung von Frieden, Feminismus, Menschenrechten, Gerechtigkeit und Außenpolitik. Von Gen-Z-Gründerinnen bis zur Grande Dame: das Female Future Festival in Wien war für mich ein Experiment in vielerlei Hinsicht. Zum ersten Mal habe ich selbst für ein Konferenz-Ticket 🎟️ bezahlt und zum ersten Mal eine Konferenz alleine besucht. Die Vielfalt der Teilnehmenden hat mich beeindruckt: jung und alt, Fashionistas und Grande Dames, Legging-GenZs, Gruppen und Einzelgängerinnen wie ich. Außer dem Geschlecht verbindet uns auf den ersten Blick nichts – und doch so viel. Inhaltlich wurde ich von der Bandbreite der Perspektiven 📣 überrascht. Von der 23-jährigen Gründerin bis zur Sacher-Erbin; Freiberuflerinnen, Autorinnen, Managerinnen großer österreichischer Unternehmen und sogar Bundesministerin für Frauen und Integration, Susanne Raab. Mich haben vier Frauen besonders inspiriert: ‼️ Anastasia Barner sprüht vor Energie und zeigt, dass Alter nichts über die Validität von Meinungen aussagt. Mit ihrer ansteckenden Art ermutigt die junge Gründerin (23) dazu, Content zu teilen, ohne perfekt sein zu müssen. Rechtschreibfehler? Who cares! Auch “X schreibt man so:”-Kommentare boosten die Sichtbarkeit auf LinkedIn. Sie möchte eine Welt schaffen, in der nicht nur Männer den Ton angeben. Ich wünsche mir ein Österreich, in dem alle jungen Frauen so viel Mut und Selbstwert haben wie Anastasia. 👗 Elisabeth Guertler hat mit ihrem Talk „Führung à la Grande Dame“ meine anfängliche Skepsis überwunden. Ihre Ratschläge haben mich direkt angesprochen: „Sei neugierig, sag Ja und überplane deine Schritte nicht.“ Sie betonte, wie wichtig es ist, offen für neue Möglichkeiten zu sein und sich in verschiedene Bereiche einzubringen. Ihre Eleganz 👑 und Haltung haben mich daran erinnert, dass Führung auch feminin, edel und sophisticated sein kann. 🦋 Sabine Gromer hat mit „Mission Karriereübergang: Die Kunst des radikalen Wandels“ genau meinen Nerv getroffen. Sie sprach über die Zwischenphase im Wandel: Wenn man nicht mehr die Person ist, die man einmal war, aber auch noch nicht die, die man einmal sein wird. Ihre liebevoll und humorvoll gestalteten Slides, insbesondere „Deine Pläne vs. die Pläne des Universums“, haben mich zum Nachdenken angeregt. Ich freue mich schon auf ihr Buch 📗 „Ready for Success“. 👩🚀 Alexandra de Carvalho hat darüber gesprochen, wie Erkenntnisse aus der Weltraum-Psychologie für das Führen von Teams auf der Erde genutzt werden können. Besonders interessant fand ich, wie sich die Teamzusammensetzung verändert hat: von weißen Alpha-Männern aus dem Militär hin zu Menschen mit hoher emotionaler Stabilität, sozialer Zugewandtheit und hoher Frustrationstoleranz. 🪐 Das Female Future Festival hat mir gezeigt, wie wertvoll es ist, sich Zeit für Inspiration und neue Perspektiven zu nehmen 💭 – und dass es okay ist, zwischendurch eine Pause einzulegen, die Schuhe auszuziehen und durch den Park zu spazieren. 🌱🚿 Ich bin dankbar für die vielfältigen Eindrücke und freue mich darauf, die neuen Ideen in meinen Alltag zu integrieren.

Last week Sabine Gromer, Elke Pichler, and Christina Huber attended the Female Future Festival in Vienna, and what an inspiring experience it was to see so many women come together to learn, grow, and empower one another! 🚀 We were especially proud as we got to cheer on Sabine, who was delivering a keynote on the Leaders Stage, sharing insights on career transitions and how to set yourself up for success. Doing so, one could really feel the attention and energy of so many great women in the room. 🤩🙌🏼 Also, Sabine shared a lighthearted panel on the Main Stage with Carolin Wessollek (StärkenEffekt GmbH) and Alexandra Eichberger (Erste Digital) — highlighting how believing in one another and focusing on each other’s strengths rather than weaknesses can drive collective success. It was a pleasure reconnecting with great women like Kristina Hentschel, Aurélie Tournan, Ekaterina Chesnokova, Ewa de Lubomirz, Julia Pessl-Trinko, Alexandra Kaspar, Ruth Gabler-Schachermayr, Andrea Stürmer, Maria Steiner-Selenić and more — and the conversations we had reinforced the value of community and collaboration for us. Have you ever hesitated to speak up in a meeting because you felt you might confirm a stereotype? 🧐 For example: ❌ how women are sometimes seen as "too emotional" or ❌ "not interested in full-time jobs," while ❌ men are expected to be "bad at multitasking" or ❌ "never show weakness"⁉ These are just a few of the many stereotypes we navigate in the workplace every day. Last week, as part of the Netz der Vielfalt at Wiener Linien, we held an internal event to explore recognizing and addressing workplace stereotypes. 💭 We had a fantastic keynote by Sabine Gromer from Magnolia Tree, who spoke about Stereotype Threat and Microaggressions. It's incredible how many things we do unconsciously! Her insights really made me reflect on how stereotypes impact our daily decisions and interactions. 💡   ✅ A special shoutout to Gudrun Senk, the Chief Technology Officer of Wiener Linien, for actively participating in the workshop and paying attention to such important topic. It's amazing to see how 🚆⚙️Technology and Diversity ♀ ♂ complement each other so well.
