Celebrating 10 Years in the Chemical Business! Today is a very special day. Ten years ago, I entered the chemical business world. My founders named me Sostie, a short term for Sourcing Strategies in Excellence. I started by sourcing quite specialized intermediates for API producers from EU-based manufacturers. Most of the first projects were custom manufacturing projects from the R&D stage to final delivery. Initially, I was quite small, just my founders Michael and Doris. It took some time to gain trust with clients and manufacturers, but over the years, we have established awesome, deep, and very friendly relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners. We've also started excellent relationships with manufacturers and clients in the USA and Asia. Over the years, we grew our business from API intermediates to APIs, nutraceuticals, biotech, industrial chemicals, and diagnostic reagents, with specialized and dedicated product lines from various manufacturers. We also grew with employees and consultants over the years, and I’m super happy that these relationships have deep bonds and identification. With Edith, Marta, Wolfgang, and Paul, we have a lot of know-how and power in our organization. We also have many international connections with different time zones and age groups, from early career starters to those in the peak season of their careers. This valuable combination is a key to our success. It keeps us dynamic, combining new work methods with some old-school ideas. All wonderful people with incredible characters and positive attitudes. Three years ago, we installed a highly sophisticated IT system, allowing us to work in real time on our projects. This makes us fast and responsive to our clients. In the last four years, we have increased our business in high double-digit figures, preparing us to grow in the coming years, organically and based on our customers' demands. Another key to our success is that we are fast, reliable, friendly, and extremely economical for our clients. We don't have any overhead to pay, and we keep our bureaucracy to a minimum, giving us more time to focus on our clients and their projects! After 10 years, it's time to give something back. I am so proud to start our Sostie charity work with our CFO Doris, who will lead our efforts to support organizations and projects. We will start by helping valuable life members who don't have a voice and need us to speak for them. Our first donations will go towards protecting our best friends - our pets. Too many of them are still not treated well and not living the lives they deserve. These wonderful souls need our help. We will expand our Sostie Catalyst of Hope to other topics in the future.
