Yesterday at the CAR IT Symposium in Ingolstadt, our CTO, Stefan Poledna, shared actionable insights on how to tackle the unprecedented complexity of software-defined vehicles. The shift from distributed E/E architectures to centralized and zonal architectures is driving this complexity: ⚡ SoC performance is increasing 100x, amplifying system interdependencies. ⚡ 100M+ lines of code & millions of possible configurations make software validation harder than ever. ⚡ Continuous software updates are now essential for user experience and safety, yet manual processes no longer scale.
