We are absolutely delighted to announce that last Friday, the Senior Partner of Alix Frank Rechtsanwälte GmbH and President of the Women in Law Initiative Dr. Alix Frank-Thomasser was awarded with the highest recognition of the Austrian Bar Association, the Marianne Beth Prize for upholding the rule of law in Austria. The prize was awarded to her for her commitment to reappraising the history of persecuted lawyers during the Nazi regime in Austria as editor of the book Advokaten 38 and for her efforts to promote a diverse and equal legal landscape through the Women in Law Initiative. We congratulate her warmly and thank @oerak.at for this recognition! 🤩 Wir sind stolz verkünden zu dürfen, dass der Senior-Partnerin der Alix Frank Rechtsanwälte GmbH und Präsidentin der Women in Law Initiative Dr. Alix Frank-Thomasser vergangenen Freitag mit der höchsten Auszeichnung der österreichischen Rechtsanwaltskammer, dem Marianne Beth – Preis zur Wahrung der Rechtsstaatlichkeit in Österreich, geehrt wurde. Der Preis wurde ihr für ihr Engagement in der Aufarbeitung der Geschichte der verfolgten Jurist:innen während des NS-Regimes in Österreich im Rahmen des Buches Advokaten 38 und für ihrer Bemühungen um eine vielfältige und gleichberechtigte Rechtslandschaft durch die Women in Law Initiative übergeben.
