The United Nations in Vienna and Calle Libre Art Festival have unveiled Vienna's biggest mural on one of the UN towers at the Vienna International Centre. This giant artwork by Australian artist Fintan Magee, focus on the Sustainable Development Goals and the fragility of peace. Thanks to the Essl Foundation, with support from VrVis, Coca Cola Austria and MVG, one tactile information board have been installed— outside the VIC building—making the mural accessible to everyone. This ensures that people with and without disabilities can fully experience the street art. The Zero Project, an initiative by the Essl Foundation, at the Zero Project Conference 2023, together with Street Art Belgrade, created an accessible artwork titled “Inclusion”. In Austria, inspired and created by the Zero Project’s initiative, there are now three barrier-free street artworks in the seventh district of Vienna, at Karl-Farkas-Park. These murals were also made in collaboration with the Calle Libre Art Festival. 🌏 Images by UNIS Vienna Street Art Belgrade, MVG, The Coca-Cola Company Austria, VRVis Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung Forschungs-GmbH, Zero Project Unternehmensdialoge, United Nations, Fintan-magee, Street Art Calle Libre Festival #InclusiveArts #ZeroBarriers #UNOCityStreetArt
