Dynamic light as a learning aid: The Dynamic Lighting study by Prof. Ellen Kathrine Hansen (Aalborg University Copenhagen) shows how flexible lighting control can improve teaching. At Herstedlund Primary School in Denmark, teachers used four lighting scenes to control pupil activity, concentration and behaviour. During the winter months in particular, warm light in the morning helped pupils to concentrate on reading. The result: light should not only support learning styles, but also complement daylight conditions. With all-day classes, it is important that lighting harmonises with the natural course of the day. Spotlight by Lichtstadt presents light art installation in Feldkirch. Until Saturday, visitors can experience the light art installation 'Crystalline', which was designed for Feldkirch by Vorarlberg-born artist, designer and architect Sofia Hagen. A salt crystal rises into the sky in front of the Alte Dogana, surrounded by several small crystals. The illuminated objects, equipped with specially created light and sound collages, blend into the space and dialogue with the surrounding architecture. Partner Hub Future Forum 🚀 A success story We had the privilege of hosting our 13th Future Forum, in Bergisel, an engaging event dedicated to our valued electrical #installer partners. Organized by the Partner Hub, under the umbrella of Zumtobel Lighting and Thorn Lighting, the event took place from September 19th to 21st, 2024. 🎯 Our goal was simple: share lighting #knowledge and open up new discussions about the future of the #lighting industry and the Partner Hub. We wanted to hear directly from our partners. Their input is crucial in shaping the next generation of solutions that truly meet their needs.
