I was really surprised and happy to see that Steve Rothery had brought out a solo album. I was very impressed by the album itself, Steve Rothery's playing reminds me of some of the greats from people like Eric Clapton (Edge Of Darkness the original Series and Rush) along with Pink Floyd. He has managed to encapsulate styles of playing and merge them effortlessly and seamlessly, a feat that many have tried and few succeeded.
