MEET THE TEAM: 𝘿𝙖𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙩 - 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧 What was your first Job? I worked in a shipyard on the slip way Why did you decide on the Plumbing trade as a career? We had renovations going on at home, and I watched the plumbers doing their thing and instantly liked what I saw. What has been your favourite project? There are too many to name one, but I would have to say building hospitals. It is bespoke and clinical hydraulic engineering, design & installation at its best when done right. What part of plumbing do you enjoy the most? Coming from the trade over 30 years ago I loved it all especially large-scale projects, these days my role as GM is more business and operational, working on and in all facets of the business makes my role enjoyable, every day is new and different to the last. What is your work goal for this year? To continue building the business group whilst supporting and developing the future AMS leaders. We have our more than fair share of very talented people at A Murray and Sons which is promising, and the number one key ingredient to success. What is your favourite thing to do on the weekend? Being at home with my family and friends whilst entertaining and cooking for them. Additionally, I enjoy fishing, travelling. What is your favourite thing about A Murray and Sons? The people I work with daily. The collaboration with solid people that value strong work ethics, makes work enjoyable.
