  • It was a pleasure for ACCESS to host a Sydney IT Leaders Lunch last week on behalf of Box discussing…. “Empowering IT Leaders: A New Era of Intelligent Workflows, Collaboration and Productivity.” In today’s digital-first world, organisations are tasked not only with enhancing productivity but also with navigating the complexities of managing vast amounts of unstructured data. As teams generate and share more content—emails, documents, videos, and chat logs—the challenge becomes less about collecting data and more about organising and utilising it effectively. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a powerful ally in this effort, helping businesses structure, analyse, and extract meaningful insights from unstructured data. Beyond automation, AI can enable smarter workflows, foster collaboration, and enhance decision-making across teams. In this roundtable, we’ll discuss how AI can empower IT leaders to tackle the challenges of unstructured data while promoting greater productivity and collaboration across the organisation. Group Discussion Points: Reimagining Collaboration Through AI: How can AI improve cross-functional collaboration without disrupting existing workflows? Discuss examples where AI tools are enabling real-time collaboration, knowledge sharing, and decision-making across departments or teams. The Balance Between Automation and Human Creativity: With the rise of AI-driven automation, how can organisations ensure that employees remain engaged and creative? Explore strategies to preserve the human element in collaborative work while leveraging AI for efficiency. AI and Data Security in Collaborative Environments: As AI enables new ways of working, how can IT leaders ensure data privacy, compliance, and security while maintaining a flexible and collaborative environment? Discuss challenges and best practices for integrating AI into a secure framework. The Future of AI-Enhanced Productivity Tools: What do the next generation of AI-driven productivity tools look like? Share insights on how AI will continue to evolve in enterprise environments and its role in shaping the future of work, from meeting scheduling to complex project management. We are looking forward to another Roundtable in Singapore this week. Nicholas Roberts, MBA Helena Mikhailova Tom Bailey

  • Last week we hosted our 287th and last event of 2024. All events this year had great turnouts, conversations, networking, and follow-up meetings. Our last event was in Singapore hosted by Smartsheet that discussed: “Leveraging Technology to Drive Digital Transformation and Enhance PMO Efficiency.” Digital transformation empowers PMOs to be more agile, responsive to change, and capable of aligning project objectives with overarching business goals, with technology as the driving force behind this transformation. Today’s technologies enable the PMO to serve as a strategic partner for the organisation, driving projects to success, delivering tangible business value, and fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability in an ever-evolving digital landscape. What does the future of project management look like and how are you embracing the power of technology to turn strategy into programs, streamline project portfolios, accelerate growth, and drive value within your organisation? Group discussion points: What would a world-class, collaborative PMO look like? Is there a lack of visibility on the value expected and created from your strategic initiatives and critical projects? How do you foster greater collaboration across project management teams? How do you achieve incremental value, faster project implementation and scale across your portfolios? Well done to Nicholas Roberts, MBA Tom Bailey Helena Mikhailova on a solid year. We are looking forward to running more events in 2025.
