Today is #NationalRecyclingDay, and the automotive sector remains a significant contributor to the nation's waste challenges, with over 850,000 vehicles reaching the end of their life in Australia annually. That’s why we are dedicated to the continued focus and growth of our automotive recycling programs. As leaders in the field, we manage Australia's largest facilities for dismantling end-of-life vehicles, breathing new life into old cars. In the past 12 months we’ve dismantled over 6,000 vehicles, that’s over a whopping 72,700 individual parts. At ACM Parts, we're spearheading initiatives such as lamp refurbishment programs and the adoption of returnable and recycled packaging, including repurposed bumpers. AMA Group announced on June 19 that they were in the process of divesting ACM Parts as part of a revised focus on their core business of collision repair. For ACM nothing changes, it remains business as usual, and we continue to supply our customers with their automotive parts needs and a choice of options to extend the life of a vehicle.
