The Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS) provides curated and relevant teaching, research, technology and service to the communities of philanthropic, social enterprise and nonprofit organisations. Our strong industry links, along with specialised courses and practical teaching, give us the unique ability to foster leaders in organisations trying to change the world for the better. Our impacts include saving the sector money, providing fundraising solutions and creating valuable resources. The centre was the first fully accredited member of the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council in the southern hemisphere, recognising its pioneering culture and leadership in the Australian context.
