Fantastic AIIA event at Deloitte’s new offices at Festival Tower in Adelaide on Monday 28 October. Always a pleasure to have the Hon. Susan Close Deputy Premier of South Australia update AIIA members and guests on the future of South Australia’s ICT Sector. The Deputy Premier and Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, outlined the SA Government’s economic agenda and tech-driven opportunities for growth and collaboration, highlighting the importance of upskilling the workforce and diversifying the state’s economy to increase resilience and growth potential. The panel discussion with Deloitte’s Ellen Derrick, Managing Partner of Technology & Transformation, Allys Todd and Dr Judy Halliday explored how ICT is essential to driving South Australia’s economic vision. Great job from the MC Jason Dreimanis and panel moderator Brock Sperryn. Thank you to our venue sponsor Deloitte and Hendri Mentz for providing their brand-new facilities – you’ve set a high benchmark for member events in Adelaide! #AIIA #ICT #TechIndustry

Great to see that our Queensland Sundowner event was well received last night with some fantastic discussion around the adoption and use of AI. A very topical discussion that we believe needed to be discussed. Also, the connection of our industry through the networking opportunities our events allow provide yet another reason to come along.
