Award season has kicked off with Aloha Pools taking out 16 awards for Victoria. These awards acknowledge the best, boldest, and most creative in the swimming pool and spa industry, and we are always thrilled when our hard work is recognised. A few awards we are especially proud of this year are the Gold Winner for Community Project - Very Special Kids Hydrotherapy Pool. This pool makes a real difference in the lives of Victoria’s sickest children and their families when they need support the most. Another highlight was the Gold Winner for Commercial Project of the Year - The Home of the Matildas. The Home of the Matildas is more than just a football precinct; it is a symbol of empowerment, opportunity, and equality. It sends a powerful message to the world that in Australia, we value and celebrate female talent and achievement. Walmer Apartments winning an impressive 3 Gold Awards. Walmer needed to have a 6-star rating under the National House Energy Rating Scheme, which means residents are not only taking part in creating a more environmentally sustainable future but will also require less energy to heat, cool, and power their homes. We will be in the running for 9 awards at the SPASA Nationals on 21st August, so everyone please keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.

One of our favourite past projects: Powlett Armadale. Set against a façade of crystalline granite, the negative edge design of this luxury pool creates the illusion of water disappearing into subterranean rock. Masterfully crafted with black ceramic tiles and bluestone steps, it resembles a natural rock pool when sunlight refracts across the property's textured exterior. A small Juliet balcony, constructed from a slab of granite used to clad the façade, extends from the living space, cantilevering over the pool.
