We're excited to have had the opportunity to help these young artists refine their creative skills and share the future of Indigenous art and storytelling. Thank you to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and the other partners for pulling this program together!

This year, we had the pleasure of bringing eight talented young artists from remote Northern Territory and Western Australia to Sydney for an inspiring digital art workshop, all thanks to the Pamela Lofts Bequest Initiative! With incredible support from DXC Technology Australia and New Zealand, Adobe, University of Technology Sydney, and AMP, these emerging artists explored cutting-edge digital tools and honed their creative skills. Thank you to all the volunteers and partners for making this transformative experience possible. Your commitment to nurturing these young talents supports the future of Indigenous art and storytelling. 🙌 #PamelaLofts #DigitalArt #IndigenousArt #ILF #DXC #Adobe #AMPFoundation #ReadingOpensDoors #CreativeCollaboration #IndigenousCulture #AcknowledgementOfCountry

While some of us were enjoying a Sunday morning sleep-in yesterday, a group of AMP team members joined their finance colleagues and charity founder Neil Pennock to run the 2024 City2Surf and raise funds for The TLR Foundation. Through massive fundraising efforts and generous dollar-matching by the AMP Foundation, the group helped to raise more than $132,000, making The TLR Foundation one of the top 5 fundraisers. Neil, who has worked at AMP since 2000 was a 2021 AMP Foundation Tomorrow Maker who started The TLR Foundation, following the death of someone he loved. TLR helps people being treated for blood cancers and disorders by recruiting new stem cell donors and offering masters scholarships in cancer and haematology nursing. We’re very proud of Neil and the whole team for this remarkable achievement. If you would like to show your support, you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/gnCXWYt5

Today we announce our financial results for the six months to 30 June 2024. The results show that we are delivering on our strategic initiatives, capital return commitment and cost discipline. We also announced today a new strategic partnership with Entireti (formerly Fortnum) and AZ NGA, which will create a sustainable business model for AMP Advice, at the same time transforming the advice industry landscape in Australia. Through this partnership Entireti Services will become Australia’s largest financial advice business service provider, with over 1,300 advisers, and the new joint venture will benefit from the scale efficiencies of this operating model. All this talk of the Olympics has made us quite nostalgic, so today we're winding the clock back to the year 2000 and AMP's sponsorship of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, 2000 Paralympic Games and the Olympic Torch Relay.   AMP helped bring Australians together through the 'Ignite the Dream Tour', where volunteers and even AMP customers toured around Australia bringing a sense of community and togetherness in the lead up to the games.   We dug into our archives and found some of the special moments from the games, capturing a very exciting time for AMP and Australia. Good luck to all of our 2024 Australian Olympians!   (Pictured: AMP Employee Olympic Games Program, AMP 2000 Sydney Olympic Commemorative Pins, Olympic location launch fireworks, 2000 AMP Sydney Tower with statues)

In AMP's second phase of research, insights reveal that Australians' attitude to intergenerational wealth show a clear desire of under 40s to secure their own financial independence.   Most people in this age bracket have not spoken to their parents about wealth transferral and they’re not relying on the 'bank of mum and dad' despite house unaffordability fears. The research also shows that half of those under 40 believe they’ll need to support their parents financially as they age.   Read more about the findings here: https://lnkd.in/g-5NNTKd
