Temporary sites and construction offices are often sited away from existing infrastructure, meaning stand-alone power solutions are required. This likely results in a diesel generator operating continuously for the life of the project, spewing emissions, creating noise and ongoing costs. Apex Energy recently completed the installation of a 20kW ground-mount solar array at the Fleurieu Connections Alliance Department for Infrastructure and Transport project site office for the Main South Road Duplication Project to reduce the site's reliance on diesel. The Alexandrina Council partnered with Apex Energy to support the transition of a new electric fleet vehicle for one of its drivers.
