🔎𝗧𝗚𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝟭𝟳 𝗢𝗖𝗧: The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has released a report summarising the outcome of TGA on-site and remote audits of domestic and international medical device manufacturers. Link: https://lnkd.in/ggMFm_42 This report covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2023. It provides a high-level overview of common quality management system (QMS) nonconformities found by TGA auditors, including: 📝Clause 4.1 of ISO 13485:2016 – the requirements for a 𝗤𝗠𝗦, its processes, planning and change control, outsourcing, and QMS software validation. 📝Clause 7.4.1 of ISO 13485:2016 – the requirements for 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 📝Clause 8.5.2 of ISO 13485:2016 requires 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to be taken without undue delay and proportionate to the effects of the nonconformities encountered. 📝Clause 4.2.4 and 4.2.5 of ISO 13485:2016 – requirements for 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and records, including review and approval, maintaining integrity, identification, availability, and accuracy.
