Maximise clicks helps you gather important data when you’re just starting out on Google Ads. Without any initial data, your new account won’t know who to show your ads to. Start with maximise clicks to get the ball rolling, then switch over to maximise conversions. But when do you make the switch? It’s best to wait until you have generated some conversions whilst on the maximise clicks objective. In our experience we find max conversions does better when there is an existing history of conversions in the account. How many conversions? It really depends on the market you’re in, so there’s no one size fits all! A general rule of thumb, aim for 15 conversions within a 30 day period and make sure your ads aren’t still in the learning phase before making the switch. Questions? Comment below 👇
