Multiple high-grade copper and antimony results at Fiery Creek Project Aruma Resources managing director Glenn Grayson said: “The multiple high-grade copper results, along with the silver and antimony mineralisation returned at the Piper target from our initial surface sampling program provide early confirmation of the Fiery Creek Project’s exploration potential. These results, in conjunction with historic exploration results, help provide key base-line data for our next phase of field work. Ground-based geophysical surveys are planned in the coming weeks, with the aim of defining targets for a maiden drilling program. High-grade copper assays at Fiery Creek Project Results come from surface rock chip sampling programs carried out by previous explorers at the Project area including Sumitomo and Anglo American. Highlight results included; ·        36% Cu – Sumitomo - Fiery Creek ·        36% Cu – Sumitomo - Fiery Creek ·        25.4% Cu – Anglo American - Twilight ·        15.2% Cu – Anglo American - Hellfire ·        11.2% Cu – Anglo American - Piper The above results come from multiple prospects across the Project area, including at the Fiery Creek, Twilight, Hellfire and Piper prospects. Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) is excited about the potential of its newly acquired Bortala Copper Project in the Mt Isa #copper belt of Queensland, having already identified several promising target areas for copper-gold mineralisation in an initial review of the tenure. The company says the targets are hosted in favourable geology, physical structures and geophysical settings. Historical exploration focused on outcropping epithermal-like veins over a 500-metre strike at the R9 target, which generated results of up to 1.9 g/t #gold in rock chips and various drilling results up to 18 metres at 0.18% copper, 2 metres at 0.25 g/t gold, 4 metres at 0.36% #lead and 5 metres at 0.44% #zinc.
