The University of Sydney’s Accounting Society (ASOC) is partnering with The Pacioli Society to present you Data Breaches in Australia: A Discussion of Governance and Notification Challenges! Australia has become a target for cybercrime, now ranking fifth in the world for the incidence of data breaches. As accounting, legal and governance professionals, we are continually expanding our data-related capabilities and knowledge, and we are now expected to have enhanced expertise in data governance. To address these challenges, the Pacioli Society is hosting a dinner event alongside a panel Q&A, featuring experts in data governance and cyber security from EY, the NSW Department of Education, and Redcross Lifeblood!
