The State of the Climate report released by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology this week provides a deeply researched update on the state of the Australian climate. We are now experiencing more extreme heat, more flooding rainfall and a longer fire season than in previous decades, and this is continuing to increase. 🥵 The new climate we are living in affects the lives and livelihoods of all Australians, but we can play a part in reducing those impacts as much as possible. Our Becoming a net-zero nation report highlights the imperative and the opportunities for Australia to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reach net-zero emissions by 2035. 🔋 🔗 Read our Becoming a net-zero nation report: https://lnkd.in/ggPcdMN6 🔗 Read the State of the Climate report: https://lnkd.in/gZVveEK4
