New reforms announced by the NSW Government!!
Responsible Gambling Officers (RGO’s), Gaming Plan of Management (GPoM), and Gaming Incident Registers (GIR). RGO’s will be required for all venues with more than 20 gaming machines by July 1 2024, and ALL gaming venues will require a GPoM and GIR!
In line with the Govt’s ongoing commitment to gambling reform, measures already implemented include no external gaming signage and reducing cash in limits on existing machines.
Additional measures this year will include a state-wide self-exclusion register including the introduction of facial recognition technology in gaming venues.
