👉 How We Transformed our Approach to L&D 👈 Let's be frank: Ausmed's own internal 'Grow Program' didn’t quite land as we had hoped; there was only a 55% take up. It stung, but it was also a clear call to action. We needed to pivot quickly. We stripped everything back and launched the 'Learn and Grow' Program, rooted in what OUR team actually needs—simplicity and flexibility. We learned that L&D isn't just about providing resources; it's about making sure those resources resonate on a personal level. So, for everyone creating L&D strategies for 2025 right now, keep it simple and relevant. 📖 Read more from Tanya Large, Head of People and Culture at Ausmed here: https://lnkd.in/gxKk5hiC #LearningAndDevelopment #EmployeeEngagement #CareerDevelopment

"Let’s face it. A lot of mandatory online training is either repetitive, boring, or both. And it’s no secret that some learners will do anything to get through it faster. Is the real problem the forward scrubbing, or is it something deeper?" In this article, Michelle Wicky explains that organisations often worry about learners speeding through mandatory training. Should we be less concerned with time spent learning and more concerned with outcomes? 📖 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gg9TFsmG #LearningAndDevelopment #OutcomesBasedLearning #OnlineTraining

We are proud to announce that last week, the federal government awarded Ausmed and Inclusion Australia a grant to fund a new platform called ‘Know My Rights: the NDIS National Microlearning Platform’. In close collaboration with Inclusion Australia, Ausmed will begin development on the public-facing platform in 2025. “The Disability Royal Commission revealed the extent of violence, abuse and neglect experienced by people with a disability in Australia”, explained Ausmed CEO, Will Egan in the Ausmed grant application. “There is an urgent need to ensure that NDIS providers are upholding the rights of people with disability, and to support people with disability to have an increased understanding of their rights and to be empowered to exercise those rights.” We look forward to providing more information on how we plan to approach this incredible opportunity.
